Streaming trouble apple TV

Hello, I have downloaded some movies from a torrent site. They play fine on my iMac, which I sued to download them.
Once copied to a USB stick and played on my macbook they have an audio echo.

Also streaming to my apple TV is very poor in picture and sound with pauses of one or both at different times.

I am running OSX 10.9.5 and playing the movies with Wondershare app. But as I said this is working fine on the iMac. Movie quality is good.

I realise this is a complex problem. Please assist.
