You haven't provided us with enough information to help you. Which version of OS X are you running? And please copy and paste the entire kernel panic report in your next post so we can look to see what could be causing it. You did not provide enough of the report in your post above.

I am running Yosemite, and my mini has 8 GB of after market RAM. We've tried swithcing out back to the original 2 GB set, but that did not make a difference.

Nothing really definitive stands out in that KP report. Try this:

Boot the Mini using Safe Mode. Hold down the shift key as soon as you hear the "Bong" sound and keep holding it until the Apple appears. Safe mode will eliminate all third party drivers such as the Logitech and joystick you're loading. It also kills the sound (that's normal). Run in safe mode for awhile to see if your Mini goes into KP.

Yes, I have tried booting the mini in safe mode, and it never had any problems.

I just uninstalled the Logitech driver, but I have no idea how to uninstall the "joystick" driver. I know the only joystick that has ever been plunged in to the computer is a joy stick for xPlane, which is not on the computer anymore.

Is it possible that our machine is just getting too old to handle Yosemite?

Your machine should be able to handle Yosemite without any difficulty. The fact that it's OK in safe mode tells us that something (software or driver) is causing the KPs to occur. It's not hardware or it would show up even in safe mode. You might want to consider backing up data and reinstall Yosemite clean. Sometimes that can help to get rid of unseen things that cause problems.

This worked for me (with Snow Leopard) and I've seen no further kernal panics.

I did a 100% reset, copied over my files, and it is still kernel panicking. I heard that Chrome causes macs to log out randomly, so I tried to delete that 100%, but it still logs out sometimes. What about AU Lab? Does it work w/ Yosemite? I installed it but can't uninstall it. Maybe that could factor in to the panics?

The reinstall went fine, minus the part that we kept trying to do it with the upgraded ram. ._. Oops. Maybe should I just start over again and not install anything unless it is from the app store?

Or directly from a reputable software developer

Of course. My only problem, it that I simply download any program I think looks nice, not much research is put into it. Should I reset the computer again?
