What is the correct way to burn a .iso disk image into a CD? Is mounting the .iso file first, than copy the content into a Burn CD Folder the correct way?

On Windows, I once downloaded the linux in .iso format, unzipped the content and burned it. It turns out, I wasn't supposed to do that! I wasn't supposed to unzipped the .iso file. The CD was corrupted. On Nero, there is an option to burn CD from a disk image. I used that option, and it's fine.

So now, how am I supposed to burn this .iso into a CD on MacOS X?

Thanks

Use Disk Utility

Once launched click the Burn icon on the top left, then browse to the ISO.

That's it really.
