Need help with Numbers

In Excel there is a function where you can Edit, Fill, Series and highlight rows or columns then use a step value and it will fill that series down the column or across the row with values using the step value after each number beginning with the first number.
For example if you started with a date of 1/5/15 and your step value in the column was 7 the next date would be 1/12/15, then 1/19/15 etc. until the entire column that was highlighted was filled. Can that also be done in Numbers?

Enter your first value at the top (say 1/1/15) Second value on the next row (say 1/8/15) and select both cells, then drag the little yellow dot indicator that appears down for as many rows as you need
