Unable to Download from 'Apps'

I recently upgraded to Snow Leopard on 2009 IMAC.

Whilst everything seemed fine on the installation, I find that I cannot download any application via the app on the task bar.

Once I click 'get it' the box either grey's out or goes green to install but nothing happens. There are no purchases listed.

I run a 2.66 ghz processor with 6GB RAM 3DDR with over 400GB Hard Drive available. Prior to the upgrade to the OS X there were no issues in downloading apps.

Any help in rectifying would be appreciated

When it goes green and says "Install", click it again.

Funnily enough I have tried that....nothing happens, thanks for the reply though. Having researched others experience I understand it's an Apple problem so God knows when it will get resolved

Try upgrading again to O X.6.8 using the Combo Updater.
