Hi Y'all,

MacBook Air (11-inch, Mid 2011)
OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 (14B25)

I'm receiving my iPhone calls to my Mac when my iPhone is around - but don't seem to be able to initiate calls.

Any idea?

Thanks,

Are you using FaceTime? When you call using FaceTime make sure you select audio at the top.

I am using a mid-2013 MB Air and an iPhone 6+. I am not sure if that makes a difference. It also works with my iPad mini and my iPhone 6+. Not sure what else to tell you.

I'm not 100 percent certain about this, but I believe that only the mid-2012 MBP and later can take advantage of this feature in Yosemite. It definitely works on my mid-2012.

I do believe you might be right. I have an early 2011 MB Pro. I will give it a try with it and report back. I do know airdrop does not work the same with the 2011 as it does with the 2013.
