Photoshop CS5 won't open

Photoshop CS5 won't open this morning. Yet, I've work with it for years ... as late as last night?! I was working with text InDesign and transferring the text to the PH file. The message is: This application "Adobe Photoshop CS5" can't be opened. -1712
Can anyone help?
