Yellow Line

Last night I noticed a yellow line about 3 inches in from the left side of the screen. of my MacBook Pro 15" early 2008. It's happened intermittantly today. I restarted it went away. then came back and then went away. Any help, even guesses are welcome.

- loose video cable connection
- damaged video cable
