I have a macbook laptop mid 2010, which stopped working one day. Nothing is happening when I press the power button.

When I plug-in charger it shows green light.

I removed the battery and plugged in the charger, still no response to power button press.
I did SMC reset. Magsafe charger light was green throughout the SMC reset so I am not sure whether reset happened properly or not.
I did PRAM reset. Still no luck.
I tried bypassing SMC. Still no luck.

Please advise.

It could be anything from a defective power button to a dead logic board. Unless you have the know how and tools to trouble shoot your MacBook, it might be best to take it to an Apple store or authorized Apple service center and have them look at it.
