We often create jobs (hundreds of jobs) with alias' to older jobs for reference. When ready to archive to dvd, the alias' are causing the entire referenced job to be included, which we don't want.
Is there a way to exclude the alias' job when backing up, without touching each job to remove the alias link?
Otherwise we alone are going to keep some dvd manufacturer in business.
At the moment, we are copying jobs to a connected hard drive, disconnecting from the network (so the alias link is broken), then backing up. Then reconnecting to the network to continue to the next batch. A little time consuming.
