Sorry for the cross post...my bad.
Yes,the 6+ did see the vehicle. Problem solved by deleting all paired phones on the BMW. Told the IP6 to forget the BMW.
Tried pairing again & got hooked up. I have no clue why or how that worked but my sweet Baby Joy is once again happy with her grocery getter X5 M!
