I've set up new iPhone from iTunes backup and, until I was asked to log into iTunes Store everything worked fine but repeatedly rejects my login attempts. Although I have changed my e-mail address online my old e-mail address is showing as my Apple ID but I don't seem to be able to change it.

Can no longer edit but the above is resolved by deletion and substitution.
