bluetooth speaker won't work after installing Maverick

Since updating my laptop to Maverick, I no longer se my bluetooth speaker as n option in my Sound preferences. Ideas please.

Sorry for bothering anyone. I have been able to pair to the speaker and the sound fills the room.
