iPhoto Won't Open After New Version Download

It has me download and install the iPhoto Library Upgrader 1.1 and close it and repeats every time I try to open the new iPhoto app. I get 2 options, "Learn more" and "Quit". "Learn more" tells me to install iPhoto Library Upgrader, which I have already done and you know what the other does. Please help. I am using Yosemite 10.10 on a MacBook.

Interesting. It seems to be for Lion OS X.7 when you check System Requirements. Any chance you upgraded from there?
