Hi,

My Macbook Pro keeps connecting to a Wi-Fi network different than the one I am paying for each time I get on my computer. Is there any way to change settings to get my computer to join my Wi-Fi network each time?

Helpful responses would be much appreciated!

Open System Preferences/Network/Advanced. In the panel you should see a list of networks known to your system. You can drag and drop your preferred network to the top and it will have the highest priority. If you never want to connect to those other networks on the list, clock once on each and then on the "-" at the bottom of the window and the network will be forgotten.

You didn't say what machine or what OS, but that worked in Mavericks and in Yosemite and I think it was the same in Snow Leopard and Lion and Mountain Lion.
