I saw a FoxNews report claiming that most phone flashlight apps are malware. Anyone with knowledge about this, please respond. Thx.

Interesting. I wonder how many flashlight apps for the iPhone are doing the same thing? I thought there was a built in flashlight app for the iPhone at one time, is it still there? I didn't look very hard but I can't find it running iOS 8.1.

Yeah, no need for a flashlight app in IOS8, so no problem for me.
I find this whole report bull crap let me explain why...
They stated that the app contains malware not arguing with that i don't install any app from any store listed from china japan the u.k and even from india and even russia (where they pirate and steal anything) think about this.
Now they said that you have to remove the malware by doing a factory reset and to backup the phone to your google account.

want to know why its a bad idea lets say the malware is attached to your contacts your email and your web browser and you backup all of this data to google congratulations guess what happens when you restore and log in with your phone.

duh this is why when using android i use the android file transfer utility and i have a virus scanner installed on my phones something that most noobs (mainly the morons in this dumb report) don't consider
