Hi,

Is there a way to sync your iCloud contacts with the contacts "on your Mac"?

I initially started my Address Book before iCloud. When iCloud was introduced, it became my primary source and any new contact I added on my laptop or phone was saved there. However, I still like the idea to have a back-up (other than on my iCloud), so hence the question, can I somehow copy contacts on my iCloud to "on my Mac"?

Thanks!

easy if you have iCloud it auto backs it up into contacts if you have enabled contacts to be shared through iCloud the way you do this is select iCloud in system pref and check box the selection that says contacts

You can't do this automatically (that I know of) but you could select all of them > File > Export... > Contacts Archive... and then import it.

1.) Sign into iCloud on your Macs and iOS Devices.
2.) Make sure contacts are enabled as shown in the screenshots below.
