Illustrator CS4

I loaded the Adobe CC package with Photoshop and Lightroom. Now my Illustrator CS4 will not open. Help.

OS X/iOS version: 10.10
Software involved with the issue: Adobe Illustrator
Version number of the software involved: CS4
Piece(s) of hardware involved: Macbook Pro
Error message(s): (at splash screen) Error loading plugins photoshopimport.aip

I was using both Photoshop CS4 and Illustrator CS4 without problem until I downloaded and installed Photoshop CC late last week. The first time I tried to launch Illustrator after the new Photoshop installation produced the above Error message. At that point the program freezes and must be forced to quit.

Are you using Photoshop CC? If not, can you uninstall it and then reinstall CS4 to see if the missing file returns?

I will see if I can uninstall Ph CC and reinstall it after test.
