iMovie '05

Hello,

I recently purchased a Panasonic PV-GS150 DVC and hoped I would be able to import the movies onto my 6-month old iBook G4(1.42Ghz). Much to my dismay, iMovie says I cannot import video via USB, only Firewire.

Am I out of luck in trying to import video using iMovie since my iBook does not have a firewire port?

Anyone have any favorite video capturing software?

Your ibook doesn't have a firewire port? I was under the impression all newly sold apple products had firewire..

no need to feel dumb sometimes you just need somebody to tell you its there before you really notice it.. good luck editing and trust me.. I have made many mistakes similar if not more obvious then yours.
