Restoring 2009 MacBook Pro

Hey guys I have a 2009 MacBook Pro (updated to new os x yosemite) and I wanted to a complete factory restore on it as if it was brand new but be able to maintain os x yosemite? Is that possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

You can...but you need to create a bootable USB stick installer of Yosemite first.
