Every day I get a note from Managed Software Update asking me to install outdated software updates. They're all at least a year or so old. If I run MSU myself, none of these updates show up as recommended. I'm assuming there is a file cached somewhere that I need to locate and delete. Any ideas?

I guess this is a dumb question; however, are you installing as an administrator?

I'm also curious since you refer to Managed Software Update, which implies to me you are in a multiuser environment and updates are coming from a local managed server.

I'm not the best expert on this; however, you may want to describe your situation more.
