I have a Macbook OSX 10.6.8 which has been working no problems for 6 years. As of today, I have no sound when playing videos/radio on the internet. Any ideas please? Thanks in advance

What application are you using? Can you get sound to play through the System Pref->Sound panel? Have you restarted your machine? Is your volume high enough and not muted? Which Mac do you have? Are you using headphones, external speakers, internal speakers?
