iPhone data usage increased dramatically

I have an iPhone 5s and am on Verizon's network. I am connected to my home WiFi most of the time.

Recently I have noticed a dramatic increase in the monthly data usage on the phone, though my own usage has remained the same more or less.

I'm wondering if the new update to the operating system I installed is causing this??

Any ideas are appreciated.

I'd check with your provider and then check what Apple considers what your data use on your iPhone is actually calculated and showing.

I'd probably Google your Subject here as well, and cheek many of the hits suggestions to keep your data use down.
