Upgrading 533 Mhz Dp with firewire 800?

I'm looking for someome out there who may have done this.
I want to install the FireWire 800 PCI card in my 533 MHz G4.
Is this product compatible with my system and what "external storage" device and cable do you recommend?

The answer is yes it is compatible; assuming your 533MHz G4 is the Digital Audio PowerMac G4 like mine -- you will have no problems. All you need is a vacant PCI slot.
