So i just got back from a business trip abroad to find my son heartbroken.His beloved ibook of 15 months is showing no signs of life.i turned it off an then on again only to have a completely white screen in front of me.I then rebooted using my techtool delux cd (from my protection plan for my powerbook)holding down the c as was suggested by apple.Nothing changed whatsoever.Any ideas of what i may try before going to the not so distant local shop.many thanks in advance..

I am gonna go head and say its a bad logic board. But see an apple tech first, do you have applecare?

Hmmm could indeed be a bad logic board... although these aren't as common in the G4 models as they were in the G3 white iBooks...
