Ios8 text does not wrap

When writing emails on my iPad 3 the text no longers wraps, just disappears off the page. Help please.

I can't recreate the issue but start with a hard reset.

Press and hold the sleep/wake and home buttons until you see the apple symbol appear. Then retry
