MAC Graphics Program Similar to PSP

Is there such a thing? I used PSP 7 on my windows-based program. It was similar to Photoshop, but much cheaper. I downloaded Gimp, but it feels clumsy to me.

I think everyone who has come from Windows using Paint Shop Pro pretty much says the same thing. (looking for a comparable Mac program)

Take a look at Pixelmator available from the Mac App store for $29.99. It's not Photoshop of course but I think you'll like its ease of use and how powerful the program is for the price.
