Email Issue on iPhone

Hello,

I have been experiencing a strange issue since i got an iPhone last week.

I configured my email address on the phone (I have my own domain name). The configuration was successful, and I get and read emails. However, I keep seeing that I have 250 unread emails. I mark on emails as read, and after a while, I see I have 250 unread emails again.

My email account is configured as a pop account, and I have gone into the email account to make sure all my emails I read.

I am not sure what is going on. I think the iPhone keeps pulling down some emails and marks them as unread. I have over 6,000 emails on the server.

The weird thing is I have another email address at the same domain name which works just fine. And I never had the issue with this account when I used a blackberry.

Please help.

Change your account from PoP to IMAP and the problem will be solved.
