I'm trying to install Windows 8 64 bit on my Mac Mini (2013). Just after the disk selection when I press next, there comes a pop uo saying

Windows detected that the EFI partition was formatted as NTFS. Format the EFI system partition as FAT42, and restart the installation.[/B]

I assume the EFI partition is the bootable USB device. It is already formatted using bootcamp in MS-DOS FAT. Someone help. I need to set up Windows real fast.

you cannot setup windows on a usb external drive it has to be on the internal drive and windows 8 64 bit might not work as you would think because bootcamp likes 32 bit versions a little better then 64 bit so be careful

Microsoft prevent that external drive installation to stop piracy - as they see it!
