Can a Macbook Pro running lion, get its windows wireless drivers etc, using a snow leopard osx disc?

No. Your Mid 2012 MacBook Pro can only run Windows 7, 8, and 8.1. You'll need to download the latest Boot Camp for your model in order to get the Windows drivers. An OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) DVD does not contain the proper drivers.
