PowerPoint presentation on Macbook Pro

I am going to be making a PowerPoint presentation on my Macbook Pro 15" Retina, through a Plasma TV via HDMI cable. Is there such a thing as a remote control I could use to change pages instead of having to sit at the laptop?

Your rMBP does not have an IR receiver or an Apple remote would work. There is a work around though - one that I use. You'll need an Apple Remote and a USB IR transceiver. An inexpensive one is currently being sold by Twisted Melon for $15.99.

It works great with my 2013 27" iMac which also does not have an IR receiver. I use it for Powerpoint, Keynote, iTunes, iPhoto, and whatever else the Apple remote supports.
