Keyboard Broken / Can't Login off Sleep Screen

My bluetooth keyboard is broken and now I can't type my password to login to my iMac. I could get a new keyboard but wouldn't I have to first login before I can pair it? Help!

Get a wired, USB keyboard. Borrow one if necessary. That way you can pair a new one.
