I have latest version of iMovie and OS. When I import images from photoshop, I get blurring of the image and sometimes pixilation. I looks normal in the workspace viewer but when I play the timeline the image deteriorates.

I'm not saying this is the case but on some Movie editors it doesn't bring the full image in until you actually export it due to the resources required to display image files like that. I'd try just exporting a few seconds of the image in question and see if it comes out full res... if not, I don't know. :)

Pixelated Images

I have the same problem. I am using iMovie to combine video and pictures into a slideshow movie. A logo that looks great in Aperture looks pixelated in iMovie.

I exported the slideshow to an mp4 movie, and it still looks bad.
