My BT Vision box is playing up and I am told I need to factory reset the box to sort it out. If I do this all my recorded programs will be deleted.
Is there any way I can record thee programs onto my MacBook Pro or some other media please? Can I play them and record them from the box or TV????

We're going to need a bit more info about the box. Knowing the model number would help but at the very least we need to know what port/connections are on the box.

Just realised that I can "watch" programs on my computer via iPlayer so is there any way I can record these while watching??? Clutching at stews here and all this comes from my son being one of the pilots in "Worst place to be a pilot" on Channel 4.
