Silverlight?

I've heard mixed things about Silverlight. I'm curious what your experiences have been. Problems? Crashes? If it causes problems, can it be easily uninstalled?

I'm using a desktop iMac (with OSX Mountain Lion) running Safari, and I meet the system requirements.

I don't know of any user that has experienced any trouble with having it installed, from OS X 10.5.8 to 10.9.x.

Anyway, it's needed for some sites and they won't work without it, but it's easily uninstalled if needed:

Silverlight is required for Netflix. I have never had any problems with it except for nagging updates when trying to start a movie
