How to get SATA 3 working on a PowerMac G5

Previously it was only possible to use a SATA III SSD drive externally threw FireWire on A PowerPC Mac. Ive managed to get Sata3 to boot OS X Leopard internally by using a Ultra Ata to sata adaptor. This actually works! Check out my Video explaining the how to. FYI it puts a 7200 rpm drive to shame

Now if only some other PowerPC Macs had the room or even some ability to use SATA drives in place of their PATA drives.... that would really be something.

Well you can via PCI slots but not of course 'in place of' IDE drives. Don't expect too much with slow bus speeds:-
