Hey guys,
so i’m planning to upgrade my mid 2012 macbook pro (i5, 4GB RAM, 500 HDD) to a Samsung Evo 840 500GB SSD. Here are the questions that I have regarding it:
1. Is it compatible with the mid 2012 macbook pro, and do you recommend buying it?
2. What’s the difference between these two:

and
Amazon.com: Samsung Electronics 840 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Notebook Kit Version Internal Solid State Drive MZ-7TE500LW: Computers & Accessories
which one do you recommend?
3. If you don’t recommend the Samsung Evo 840, which SSD do you recommend?
4. If you’re a samsung evo 840 user, have you had any problems regarding the SSD in the past?
I know that most of these questions are very “nooby”, but big thanks to everyone that’ll help!
