Question on iMac memory grade?

Your Mac's Specs
Mid 2010 Mac Mini - Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz - 8GB ram - 1TB HDD, iPad Air 32GB, iPhone 6s 64GB
I have a 21.5" late 2009 iMac running Mavericks currently with 8gigs of ram (2 x 4gig modules). Will it make a difference if the new memory modules are not from the same manufacturer as the original modules?

The manufacturer of the ram shouldn't matter. As long as the ram is the correct ram for your model iMac.:)
