okay first of all, lay off that this is suppose to be in the digital photo thread but I decided that its probably such a STUPID QUESTION that i wouldn't want to embarrass myself that much more but posing this to a bunch of pro's. I have these pics my gf sent me and I want to put them, one, as my wallpaper but when i do its so freakin' huge you only get like 1/8 of the picture but I can't figure out how to resize it big enough, or small enough, so that it fits on the desktop.

if anyone can help it would be appreciated and please not too much sarcasm in your response, I already feel special enough for posting this hahah

thanks. :bomb:

Where do you find the picture-size control? I thought Apple killed it, because it's gone from my machine, even after various clean installs for other reasons. Are you running Tiger?

There should be a pull down menu right next to the image preview in the Desktop and screen saver preferences. Yes, I am running Tiger.

You could also save alot of time and view the image in "preview" then take a picture of it. (Shift+command+3 for full screen or +4 for select)

Weird. I haven't seen that control since I replaced Panther. Just loaded Tiger on another partition, and it's not there, either. C'est la vie.
