1/8" headphone plug stuck inside jack of computer

While doing a sound gig, I tried unplugging the 1/8" wire that is plugged into my my computer.The wire came out slightly, but it seems to be getting hung up inside the computer. In other words, the computer is not releasing the jack so that I can pull it out. Anyone have any experience in in this kind of situation?
