Frequently, when I print a net page from my MacBook Pro 13" to my HP Envy 110 D411a via an AT&T gateway/router. It doesn't happen with other Macs or HP printers. This is not a "seldom" problem, but a crapshoot every time. Mac "Genius" says it's because HP uses kernel extensions; other printer manufaturers don't. Apple support forums haven't answered in 10 months.
