iSync with sony ericsson

hey,
i tried to connect my sony ericcsson k750i to my macbook pro - it received power, which suggested a good connection, but when i loaded isync it suggested the device couldnt be found - do i need to install anything first?

Have you got the latest OS X update? (10.4.5)

If not, iSync might not find your phone...

Oh, I assumed he meant with bluetooth...

iWonder is right, you need to sync via bluetooth.
Make sure your phone is set to discoverable.

thanks a lot, have got it synced ok - but it doesnt seem to pick up the birthdays from the phones address book and add them to the address book on the mac...do you have any idea how to get round this?

Hmmm afraid not...

Perhaps that just isn't supported by iSync?
