You identified your MacBook Air as a new Mac. If this is true, your Mac is under warranty and should be taken to Apple to let them check it out. What you are experiencing is a kernel panic - this is Mac talk for a Windows BSOD (Blue Screen of Death). Make an appointment with your local Apple Store genius bar. You can do this on the net.

Any Apple computer can be taken to Apple/Apple Store...regardless of where it was purchased.

Newer Apple computers (new MacBook Air in this case) are so inaccessable to users to troubleshoot...that it's best to just have the Apple folks take a look at it (especially if it has Applecare remaining). Just as "chscag" suggested.:)

Definitely take it to Apple. Apple is #1 in customer service (years & years) for a reason. Plus with Applecare...you won't have to pay anything!:)

And in case it is not always easy to recreate the situation...keep a copy of that error report handy just in case they can decipher something from it.

Please let us know how things go.:)
