Mac mini cant start up with iLok inserted

My Mac mini is 2.3G Intel i7, OS is 10.9.1
I have Protools installed so I have to insert one iLok2 to my mini.
Every time I press the power it flash one time and shut down.
When I unplug the iLok, The mini can start up normally.
Are there some conflicts between Mini and ilok??

Have you contacted or checked their support site or....???

I guess I'm curious as to why you even need to use Protools or your iLok2...????

Is it/they really needed??
