iphoto events

I'm not sure what is going on, but when I go to my events in iphoto I cannot open them.
The photos are all there if I click on 'photos' (over 2000) but when I go to 'events' for a specific search it will not open.
I rebooted and that did not help.

OK, after playing with it all day I fixed it.
DUMBEST thing ever.
It was the speed of my mouse set to double click to open too fast.
Turned the speed to mid section, iphoto now opens all events just fine.
Who ever would have thought it?
