ImageUploadedByMac Forums1407620213.752488.jpg The Apple Specialists don't know how to make this screen stop popping up. Anyone out there know how to do it, without turning data on? It's annoying to be constantly reminded of something I already know I initiated.

Edit: My previous answer was incorrect. This notice will happen every time you go to iTunes U, because the purpose of iTunes U is to download courses so of course they're going to remind you.

Solution, turn on cellular data for iTunes U, but don't download anything while on cellular. :)

The notice pops up when launching any app, whether the app does or doesn't require internet connection--for instance, Calendar. Apparently they want us to have cellular data turned on at all times.

P.S. I am on iPhone 5S iOS 7.1.2

Just to clarify: are you saying you get a warning about "iTunes U" every time you open any app, or are you saying you get a warning about cellular data pertaining to *the app you are opening* every time you open an app?

I don't get these messages unless I open up one of the "stores" -- iTunes, App Store, iTunes U.

Something's definitely not right there. Have you tried turning the iPhone completely off (not just putting to sleep)?

Yes I turn it off occasionally. Maybe I should go to the Genius Bar. I've spoken to guys in the front of the store on it, but not to a genius.
