Calendar won't display when launched in Mavericks

I recently upgraded to OS X Mavericks.

Now, whenever I launch Calendar, my events don't show up in the otherwise blank calendar until I hit Windows-Calendar (or Command-0).

Next time I launch Calendar, same thing.

Any thoughts?
