wireless keyboard problem

i just bought a new wireless keyboard for my mac ( microsoft sculpt mobile keyboard ) and after i succesfully paird it with the computer, it only responds if i press keys for a long time.
i tried it with another computer ( windows ) and it works properly.
what can i do ?

Did any software come with the keyboard? (Mac software) You need to make adjustments for the wait time or repeat time when pressing the keys. You can try going to System Preferences, Keyboard tab, and adjust the sliders. If that doesn't help, return the keyboard and buy a wireless keyboard that is compatible with your Mac.

it didn't come with a software and i allready tried to adjust the sliders and it didn't help.
it says on the box that it is also compatible with mac.
tnx anyways!
