I am close to using iPhone cameras for 100% of vacation photography. My wife has a 5C and I have a 5S. On our last trip, most of the pics came from the 5C and when I compared them to the few I took from the 5S, I could see a great difference in quality, especially color saturation and contrast (4C has too much). Is there any adjustment I could make on the 5C to reduce the color problem? ps: 5C will probably be traded in when the 6 comes out

There's a lot you can do in third-party software that can help with that, but yes the iPhone 5s has a significantly better camera than the 5c and as any photographer will tell you, what you use to take the shot is as or more important than what you can do digitally afterwards.

For mobile editing, give a look at Snapseed (originally by Nik Software, now by Google), which I really like for editing pictures. Sadly the Mac version was discontinued, but Macphun have stepped into the breach there for me for the most part. I don't need to fire up Photoshop nearly as often as I used to.

I primarily use Lightroom for photo adjustments, etc. Just wondering if there was something I could do to the 5C to adjust the problem areas before the shot is taken. Will often post pics to Facebook or share with friends/family before any adjustments to color, etc are made. As I write this, I know I am asking a lot from the 5C.

There isn't much you can do to the camera itself - it is what it is. Any improvements you notice (and that's a generous term) are going to have to rely on software based solutions.

I forget if it is double-tapping or tap-and-hold, but I'm sure you can adjust the exposure and point of focus levels on the iPhone 5c. If the native Camera app won't do it, there is a metric tonne of third-party photo apps that will.
