bullet points in Pages sent in emails

I have used bullet points in a Pages document that I want to email to people that use Word. They see dashes over the bullet dots. How do I fix this?

Try saving your Pages documents first as either "doc" or "docx" before attaching them to your email. Be sure to view the document prior to sending it to determine if the bullet points are showing up correctly. Keep in mind that Pages is not 100% compatible with MS Word and that you will run into an occasional glitch when exchanging documents with MS Word users.
